Assignment
Developing a new control system for a machine in the food industry. The goal of the project is to automate the process. In addition, the capacity of this line will be increase by 25%.

This machine (further called "lidder") takes care of the application of lids on different types of trays. The lidder must be able to provide 100 trays per minute with a lid.

The filling of the trays will mainly consist of:
- Soup
- Tomanto sauce
- Carbonara sauce

Process
A formation is made of six trays, which are then transported by a walking beam. When the trays are in position, they are pushed upwards against the lid. After this process, the trays are moved again by the walking beam and executed via an outfeed conveyor.
