Assignment
Developping a new control system for a machine in the bakery industry. This involves the complete renewal of the existing control system.
The current control system is outdated and components are no longer available. Therefore the curcial components have been replaced voor new ones. Such as:
- New SEW controllers
- New SEW motors
- New Siemens PLC
The purpose of this robot is the automatic stacking and de-stacking of bread cans. This robot is 30 meters long and 6 meters wide.
Process
When production is started, the robot will pick up the right bread cans from the storage and place them on the conveyor belt, after which the cans run into the line.
This process will repeat itself until the bread cans come back. The returned bread cans are collected and when the complete formation is completed, they are picked up again by the robot and placed back in the storage.
